Treatments are carried out by trained and experienced doctors who ensure they carry out each procedure with the utmost precision and care.
As with many of the treatments available at PPP laser clinics, this procedure should be relatively pain free. It is normal for the peeling section of the treatment to produce a tingling feeling to the skin and for a warming of the skin to be felt during the application of a laser to the skin. The application of serums can produce a cooling and soothing effect, as can cool packs to the skin after warming. During your pre-treatment consultation, your doctor will talk through all sections of the procedure and the sensations you can expect to experience.
It is common for patients to find their skin experiences some redness after the procedure. There may be some mild skin peeling within a few days of the procedure which could also last for a few days - this is a normal part of the resurfacing process, which enables the skin to replenish itself. Once these effects have passed the skin will reveal a glowing and radiant look.
Skin redness and tenderness form the procedure may last for up to 24 hours. Although shedding the skin may look a little unattractive it should only last for a few days and will not inhibit your ability to perform your usual everyday daily tasks.
